Special Delivery

While the weather was still chilly, I put in a custom order for a slouchy hat and matching scarf with Angela, who is raising money for missions work in Columbia. It took over a month to make both, and although the weather is now to warm to wear either, I am happy with the results. It makes me excited for the fall / winter season to come (and I cannot believe I'm saying that since I'm a summer baby and love the heat. Originally, I was not sold on the yarn color choice, but let's just say that my "Man in Blue" has a good eye for things like this. I've learned over time to trust his judgment over mine in some instances.

So thanks again Angela for the fine work! I'll be thinking of you and your husband, and asking the Lord to continually bless your service to the people of Bogota. :)
