Goodbye February

Journey. That is the word that comes to mind as I reflect on the end of February. It is the shortest month of the year, and yet it seems to have been the longest one for me. Nevertheless, it has been a beautiful month nevertheless. Journey. I hear the word in my head again as I think about my photography - how I have grown and how I am still continuing to grow.

Journey. I know I'm starting to sound repetitive now, but what has blessed me the most this month have been the relationships in my life. At the end of last month I walked away leading a small group of 7 women. At the end of this month, I see an adventure ahead of me as I pour into them and facilitate their growth and authenticity with each other. Last night we had our last gathering of February, and I did a small exercise using Soularium Cards. It is a of 50 photos used to strike up spiritual conversation. I was of course attracted to it because it featured photography, but the images also just allow you to pick someone's brain. I didn't use them exactly like the questions outlined, but they got everyone talking. It also gave me some insight into the type of women God has given me. I am looking to photographically document my group's journey over the coming months. God has granted me with more than one talent, and I believe that I should use them all.
