I had a fun but productive weekend. On Saturday, I took advantage of the mild winter weather to go on a photo walk in Alpharetta, Georgia with a couple friends. It had been a while since I had been on one, so I was itching to pull my camera and get to work. I admit that I didn't capture many shots of the natural surroundings, but I definitely had fun. The trail was lovely, and the woods surrounding us were alive and noisy. I wandered off the path several times, and had one hell of a time getting back on the path at one point. Apparently some of that struggle was caught on video, which I have yet to see. I'm pretty sure it's hilarious though. Toward the end of our walk we finally caught sight of a few deer, and that was a treat.

I love a winding path, and I bet it looks even lovelier in fall. |

It was nice to see a little bit of color among the green. I cannot wait for spring! |

I just loved this scene. |
